Join the Sacred Mission: Shiva Shakti PeeTham

Tattwamasi, a not-for-profit near Bangalore, is dedicated to reviving and sharing India’s ancient Vedic wisdom. For nearly a decade, it has offered classes and workshops rooted in Sanatana Dharma. Now, it envisions the Shiva Shakti Peeta—not just a temple, but a spiritual and cultural sanctuary built on traditional architecture, aimed at fostering deep learning, inner growth, and divine connection.

Construction Features

The temple's design will align with the Vesara style of architecture, known for its harmonious blend of elegance and intricacy. Key architectural features include:

Architectural Symbolism

The temple architecture will follow Agama Shastra principles, blending masculine and feminine energy symbols such as the Shiva Lingam and Sri Yantra in the sanctum sanctorum.

Energy Design

Designed with precise Vastu Shastra alignment, the Peeta will ensure optimal spiritual energy flow, fostering harmony between the devotee and the cosmic energies. A Chakra Mandala design on the temple floor or premises will symbolize the Kundalini system, signifying spiritual awakening.

Elemental Connection

Features like a sacred pond for water purification, a Pavitra Agni (sacred fire) for agni rituals, and an open area for worship of the natural elements (Pancha Mahabhutas) will enhance the temple’s connection to the earth. Sacred groves or gardens with plants such as tulasi, bilva, and hibiscus will add to the temple's divine ambiance.

Murthi (Idol)

The central idol will depict Shakti in a powerful yet compassionate form (e.g., Lalita Tripura Sundari or Bhuvaneshwari), alongside Shiva in his Dakshinamurthy and Dattatreya forms.
